OMEGA started in Colchester in 2013. We cover Essex, Suffolk, Kent and Cambridgeshire — because that's as far as we can drive and still be on site by 8am. We install insulation, solar, batteries and heat pumps, and we handle every grant the homeowner qualifies for.

Why we started this
OMEGA exists because the trade needed to do better.
I spent years in the trade watching perfectly good houses stay cold and expensive because the people fitting the work didn't care enough to do it right. Loft insulation pushed in around pipes and left. Solar installed on the wrong pitch. Heat pumps sized from a postcode.
We started OMEGA to fix that — employ the installers, run proper PAS 2035 surveys, and leave every customer with a home that actually works the way it was sold.

Our promises
Five things we refuse to compromise on.
Home-energy is full of hard-sell doorstep outfits. OMEGA is deliberately boring on that front. We measure. We explain. We quote. You decide.
25-year product guarantee.
We pick products with the warranties to match. If the panel, pump or insulation fails inside 25 years and it shouldn't have, we replace it.
5-year workmanship.
If it fails because of how we fitted it — not the product — we come back and fix it. No hourly rate. No arguments.
PAS 2035 on every retrofit.
Not just "approved" — designed to the standard. A retrofit coordinator signs off the plan before anyone picks up a drill.
No-pressure quoting.
No Friday-night calls to sign by Monday. The written plan is valid for 90 days. Take it to a competitor if you want to.
No hidden fees.
The written plan is the price. If we find something mid-job that needs doing, we stop and talk to you first. We don't invoice surprises.

Earned accreditation for cavity wall, loft, and solar PV — opening the door to scheme funding.
2021
ECO4 & retrofit specialist
Became an approved ECO4 installer as the scheme launched, securing whole-house packages for eligible homeowners.
2024
Regional expansion
Extended service area from Essex into Suffolk, Kent and Cambridgeshire. Opened heat-pump and battery storage divisions.
2026
Four-county team
Thirty-plus employed staff: surveyors, retrofit coordinators, heating engineers, insulation installers, solar technicians. Still one phone number.
