Energy grants in 2026:
who actually qualifies, and for how much.
ECO4 funds insulation for households on benefits. GBIS funds insulation for some households without benefits. The Boiler Upgrade Scheme takes £7,500 off the cost of a heat pump. The Smart Export Guarantee pays you for surplus solar. The 60-second eligibility check below tells you which of these fit your home.

Active funding routes
Four schemes. One free survey. Every route checked.
ECO4, BUS and SEG sit on top of each other in different ways. Some stack, some rule each other out, some apply only to off-gas-grid homes. Our surveyor untangles all of it on the first visit, and tells you which ones realistically apply to your address.
- Up to £10,000 per household
