Who we are
OMEGA Energy Solutions ("OMEGA", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through www.omega-solutions.uk. You can reach us at info@omega-solutions.uk or 0800 229 4094.
What we collect
- Contact details. Name, email, phone number, and postcode — only when you send them via a form, a call, or email.
- Project details. Anything you tell us about your property to qualify you for a survey or grant (e.g. property age, current heating system, household income band for ECO4 flex).
- Analytics. Aggregate, anonymous usage data via Plausible (no cookies, no IP logging). If you consent, we also run Meta Pixel to measure ad performance.
- Survey + install records. Photographs, EPC readings, invoices, and warranty documents tied to work we've carried out on your property.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your enquiry or book a survey.
- To check your eligibility for grants and funding schemes such as ECO4, GBIS, BUS, and SEG.
- To deliver, warrant, and support installed work.
- To comply with TrustMark, PAS2030, MCS, and Companies House record-keeping obligations.
- To improve this website (analytics and error logs).
Lawful basis
We rely on (a) your consent where required, (b) performance of a contract when you book work with us, (c) legitimate interest for directly replying to enquiries, and (d) legal obligation for accreditation and accounting records. Where the basis is consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
- Scheme administrators — ECO4, GBIS, BUS, and SEG require us to submit measure and eligibility data.
- HubSpot — our CRM and enquiry pipeline (EEA data region).
- Twilio — for SMS booking confirmations.
- Trustpilot — only your name, order ID, and review prompt link, after an install.
- Meta — only if you've consented to Meta Pixel; we use server-side CAPI with limited, hashed identifiers.
We never sell your personal information. We never share it with third parties outside the purposes listed above.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't result in work: up to 12 months.
- Customer records for completed installs: 10 years (required for warranty, scheme audits, and HMRC records).
- Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- Confirm what data we hold about you (subject access request).
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete data where we no longer have a lawful basis to hold it.
- Stop processing your data for marketing.
- Port your data in a machine-readable format.

Complaints
If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
