    In most cases, EWI falls under permitted development rights and does not require planning permission. However, listed buildings and properties in conservation areas may need approval. We handle all checks.

    How long does EWI installation take?

    A typical semi-detached house takes 2–3 weeks depending on weather and complexity. We erect scaffolding, install the insulation, and apply the render finish.

    What does the finished result look like?

    EWI is finished with a choice of textured or smooth render in a wide range of colours. Many homeowners say it transforms the look of their property.

    Will EWI affect my windows and doors?

    EWI adds approximately 80–100mm to your external walls. We carefully detail around all windows, doors, and sills to ensure a clean finish and maintain proper drainage.
